Lately, I feel like when anyone asks me the question, "What are ya'll doing this weekend?" I automatically think, "Well, we really need to be working on the floors." I mean, these floors have really taken over our lives in more ways than one. However, after many late nights of working and with the help of some awesome people, WE ARE FINALLY FINISHED! (and by we I mean Steven, of course ;)

Okay, I only have one picture of the living room before pic (previous owner's stuff).
The pictures below are our house now. We painted, pulled up carpet, and put down African Mahogony flooring. It is definitely still a work in process, but we have had a lot of fun with the updates so far! I love light and airy rooms. They make me feel peaceful.

| As you can see, our dining room is still completely empty. Steven is going to build me a table out of old tobacco barn wood, which is sort of a replica of the one we love from Restoration Hardware. Updates on that project still to come. |

We are so excited to have our own place. We love to tackle new projects and learn as we go. Next stop, updating the downstairs bathroom :)
